Ⅰ. Educational Objective:

In 2010 , the Education Ministry of British Columbia, Canada (hereinafter referred to as the BC), agreed regu1ations administrative department for examination and approval in our school jointly established Canada Changchun Shiyi Offshore Secondary School, this program consists three years, using small-class teaching mode, according to the Canadian BC provincial teaching syllabus and curriculum, professional teachers with rich teaching experience execute whole English teaching, 2010 formally began to recruit students. This project introduced a Canadian high school teaching system to enhance the students' foreign language, thinking, behavior, leadership and develop the student international business management and scientific knowledge and training to adapt to the 21st century quality requirements of the new generation.

Ⅱ. Management Mode:

By the approval of Changchun Education Bureau, Education Department of Jilin Province and the Education Ministry of British Columbia, Canada Changchun Shiyi Offshore Secondary School is one achievement of expanding cultural and technological education communication between China and Canada, and obtained support from Chinese and Canadian government, as well as the Canadian embassy. The management of Canada Changchun Shiyi Offshore Secondary School is practised by both sides, by selecting senior education experts as principal, participating in jointly formulate courses and management. The Chinese side provided excellent teachers responsible for teaching and daily management work; Canadian side is responsible for the curriculum, teaching and management. All the equipment, teaching conditions, and management of Canada Changchun Shiyi Offshore Secondary School are in line with standards for offshore schools both in Education Department of China and the Education Ministry of Canada.

Ⅲ. Teaching Mode and Its Effect

1. "Home" of a Canadian high school curriculum. Students can achieve international student status without going abroad, enjoy high quality of a Canadian high school education, Students enrolled will get guidance from both Chinese and Canadian professional teachers . “Study at home country" can make students get family care, and prevent young children from getting negative effects studying abroad.

2. Scientific curriculums setting . This project focus on curriculum design and international standards, so that it enables the student to study all the curriculum in English, helps students had BC good language clearance and cultural shut, and lays a solid foundation for the next move towards the world. Course also pays attention to Chinese traditional cultural heritage, students can continue to learn native culture. This project implement of credit system, so the admitted students can choose elective subjects according to development in the future.

3. A shortcut to study abroad. Students passing the academic examinations , will obtain the high school diploma issued by BC provincial ministry of education in Canada and enjoy the same treatment as domestic high school graduates in Canada. By presenting three-year high school grades, students can directly apply for universities in Canada or other English-speaking countries . In this project, students will have the opportunity to obtain many interviews by famous Canadian universities.

4. The over-value of international education. The cost of studying three years in this project is greatly lower than that of studying abroad, and save one year of pre-university learning at the same time .

5. Small-class-based size: no more than 30 students per class. Schools take "people-oriented, teaching students according to their aptitude" "small class, individual counseling method.

6. Ability training: students graduate with foreign language ability, writing ability, internationalization awareness, knowledge, thinking and creative ability, and ability of self-dependence etc. , comprehensive reach the requests of Canadian native students, and lay a solid foundation for the students' growth for tomorrow's high-tech and business leaders or successors .

Including Canada BC provincial high school full core courses (taught by Canadian teachers all in English) :

Year 10: English language arts, Canadian history and geography, science, mathematics, personal planning, sports and ESL.

Year 11: English language arts, Canadian history and geography, physics, chemistry, mathematics, business and foundation (and integrate information technology), ESL, sports and graduation transition program (including community service and social practice)

Year 12: English language arts, physics, chemical, biology, mathematics, calculus, world geography, ESL, sports and graduation transition program (including community service and social practice)

And part of Chinese high school courses (given by Chinese teachers).

Ⅴ. Enrollment and The Number of Objects

Facing the recruit ideology and moral character, fine physical and psychological health, study hard, outstanding achievement, living and learning in a strong consciousness, family has certain economy capacity, and consider the development of future abroad, fresh junior middle school graduates and high school students. Ⅶ. Charges Tuition 50,000 RMB per year
