This is intended to be the informal home of an "IBM task force" to help cleanup, expand, and standardize IBM-related articles on Wikipedia. About a year ago I made a failed bid to start an IBM Wikiproject. I was rather surprised to learn that there weren't very many people interested, though I believe there are a probably at least a few Wiki editors who may be able and willing to help me with my quest. :)
If nothing else, this will be my own personal coordination utility for keeping track of all the diverse subjects within scope. If anyone else wants to join in and help, by all means add yourself, make suggestions, be bold, etc.

Lists & sorting
In trying to build a list of in-scope articles to work with, I've realized that simply properly sorting the articles and presenting them in a hierarchical list is a monsterous task in-and-of itself. The end goal here is to have a logical hierarchy of topics related to IBM that can easily transform into better List of IBM products-style Wiklists, and can help us refine (or discern a better) Wiki-categorization project wide. Input on how to accomplish these things is welcome and requested.
This is the basic hierarchy of how I'm categorizing articles. It's a work in progress -- please change the structure below as needed. There is almost certainly a better way than I'm using currently.
- Legal cases
- Controversies (?)
- Operating systems
- Other products
These are articles that deal with the IBM Corporation, including its history, legal cases, etc.
