This is Bowen Yu. I am a PhD student in GroupLens Research at the University of Minnesota. I am doing research in social computing area to understand the underlying mechanisms of online user behaviors and interactions in online communities, such as Wikipedia, MOOC, etc. Right now, I am working on projects to create tools for WikiProjects, and help them engage new members.
In the past two summers, I interned at IBM Research Center and Microsoft Research FUSE LABS, and did super cool projects with awesome people! In my spare time, I enjoy reading and workout. Basketball is my favorite sports!
If you are interested in my research or participating in my research projects, please feel free to reach out me at firstname.lastname@example.org, or my personal website.
