|I started contributing to Wikipedia in 2004, when I was accidentally sent here by a friend trying to Google me into information I couldn't find elsewhere. I was immediately hooked and, 554 days later, became an administrator.
||Wikipedia is, without doubt, the single greatest reference tool known to man. Where else can you find out about exploding whales, people whose names are actually pronounced Albin, and What colour your fiancé wants her wedding dress to be.
|I am interested from a personal level in music, I did the majority of a Music Technology course between September 2004 and December 2005, but stopped before it became too painful. Through this course, I met people such as voice artist, and voice of the UK's version of Tony the Tiger, Tom Hill, Steve Albini, Paul Farrer, John Otway, and many other people.
||I am an administrator, which purely means that I clearly spend more time around here than I should, attempting to fix things for the good of the community at large. I have written nearly 1200 articles, mostly about English and international footballers, and cricketers of various nationalities.
|Current Wikipedia work
|I am currently working on finishing Wikipedia's coverage of Namibian cricket, historical and current, by adding the names of all of the cricketers who have represented the Namibian cricket team. I am nearly finished this task and ready to move onto another, such as adding the names of current and past cricketers for English county sides, my recent focus having been on Derbyshire.
||I am very contactable. I check back here at regular intervals to see what new messages I have been given, whether they be about things that I did by accident which I can just as easily fix, my administrative actions, or my appalling hair. I also have my e-mail address enabled, which means that you are free to contact me privately about any of my actions as a Wikipedian.
