Harlem, home to many of New York's legendary and cultivating Artist ; It is also the birth place of one of New York's up and coming hottest Hip Hop artists named Brandson. Being born and raised in the after math of the "Crack Epidemic", life was no white picket fence illusion. Between the hustlers getting money and the women that the status hustler brings, growing up in Harlem truly was an everyday struggle to stay away from the allure of the streets. Luckily for Brandson, he had positive influences surrounding him. Having older cousins in the rap game was the spark that grabbed Brandson's interest in pursuing a rap career; and at the age of 12, Brandson passion for Hip Hop turned into him taking his music seriously. Music has been his safe haven from his life experiences and struggles. Especially when the streets catch up with you unknowingly and Brandson was faced with a life changing circumstance in 20-- that almost cost him eight years of his life.
