Once upon a time, I edited Wikipedia rather heavily, particularly in the area of pure mathematics (see microbundle or 2π theorem for typical, recondite examples of my contributions). This was back when I was a PhD student in mathematics. Nowadays, my interests revolve more around machine learning, computer programming, and econometrics, although I don't expect to edit much in those areas.
The fun thing about Wikipedia is how one can quickly navigate a variety of topics inadvertently through a a few innocuous clicks. As a result, my contributions include California roll, Tinsley Mortimer (no, don't ask me why I edited this), and Butt Hole Road (some would consider this a low point).
