Pinellas County Shields

[edit]

Hey, I see you're making the new shields for Pinellas County. They look good, just one suggestion, if I may. Maybe you could make them look consistent with the ones already in place? I've noticed on the ones, like , have the "County" is toward the bottom and the numbers a little bigger. I mean, yours look much better than anything I could draw, but it's just a suggestion from one fellow Wikipedian to another to maybe keep everything looking uniform? Everything else, the shape, the "Pinellas", the coloring, is spot on and I think they look great otherwise. Keep up the good work and thanks for helping out! EaglesFanInTampa 23:15, 3 October 2007 (UTC)

I'm confused, and I don't think it's anything you did, but when I look at the thumbnails, they look great, but when I click on them, they show the original look. I noticed you've only done the 200's right now, but I even tried purging them and they're still showing the old way when clicking on them. I'm sure it's just me, though. Of the one I was able to see in the new size, CR 321, it looks great; my only complaint would be the numbers are one font size too big and the Pinellas could move down a little, but those are very minor and someone who's not a perfectionist like me wouldn't notice.
On a side note, I was an idiot and forgot one road, CR 264, which I'm going to put on the table shortly, so if you want to make a shield for that one as well, feel free. I'll try purging again, cause I'm sure those shield probs are just me, but I'll let you know what I find when I find them. Thanks again! EaglesFanInTampa 13:38, 7 October 2007 (UTC)
Actually, after going over them a little more in-depth, you're 213 and 216 are perfect! They are spot on and couldn't be imprved in anyway. Just model the rest after those two and you got it! EaglesFanInTampa 00:05, 8 October 2007 (UTC)
The thumbnails all look great! It just the actual images need to be purged, so as I click on them I've been purging. If, after purging I still see some issues, I'll let you know. So, for helping out, I present you this:
The Graphic Designer's Barnstar
I present you with this barnstar for going above and beyond to make the Florida State Roads Project more user-friendly and appealing for the Average Joe by building the County Road shields for Pinellas County. Great work! EaglesFanInTampa 16:57, 8 October 2007 (UTC)

Great job, and on behalf of the Florida State Roads Project, thanks! Hopefully, we can call on you in the future...? EaglesFanInTampa 16:57, 8 October 2007 (UTC)

More CR shields...?

[edit]

Actually, I hate to be th guy who asks a favor right after you offer to do a favor, but if you have time, no big rush, would you be able to do another list I built: List of county routes in Salem County, New Jersey? The only diff is, as I'm sure you're aware, they're county routes and not roads. Like I said, no big deal, just whenever you get around to it, that'd be great! Thanks again! EaglesFanInTampa 01:35, 9 October 2007 (UTC)

I like the font on the 2nd one you showed me, but maybe just a touch bigger on the font size. EaglesFanInTampa 13:37, 15 October 2007 (UTC)
Hey, haven't heard from you in a while. Just wondering how you were coming along on those shields. If something else came up, no big deal. Just curious.... EaglesFanInTampa 21:24, 9 November 2007 (UTC)
No problem at all. Trust me, I've been very busy myself. Whenever you find the time, it's not a top priority, I swear. I'm just appreciative that you can do them, that's all! EaglesFanInTampa 19:05, 19 December 2007 (UTC)
