Jesus Guillermo Lorenzo (born 1965) is the Executive Chef for Chef Lorenzo LLC[1]Chef Lorenzo Products, since 2008.

Early life[edit]

Jesus Guillermo Lorenzo was born in Venezuela and grew up in Caracas. When he immigrated to the United States at the age of 11, he lived in Miami, Florida and in Houston, Texas. He completed his secondary education at the Houston Community College. He attended the University of Houston , Conrad N. Hilton College of Hotel and Restaurant Management , majoring in [Hotel and Restaurant Management] . However, he left school before completing the degree, he is a Certified Executive Chef by American Culinary Federation .

Career[edit]

Lorenzo first job was at Conrad N. Hilton College of Hotel and Restaurant Management as a Lab Instructor at University of Houston . He also worked at the Sweetwater Country Club as an Executive Chef. After Houston, Texas, he moved to Hiawatha, Kansas, and worked as an Executive Chef and Food and Beverage Director for Sac & Fox Casino, moved to Tucson, Arizona, worked as an Executive Chef for Casino of The Sun and Casino Del Sol, move to Houston, Texas and worked as a Banquet Chef at Intercontinental Hotel Houston Galleria, move to Lake Charles, Louisiana and worked at the Isle of Capri Casino Lake Charles, as an Executive Chef move to Marksville, Louisiana and worked for Paragon Casino Resort as Resort Executive Chef, Move to Katy, Texas and worked as an Executive Chef for Chef Lorenzo LLC. He additionally spent two and half years in Houston, Texas as an Executive Chef for Chef Lorenzo LLC. Lorenzo was recruited by Al Danner Food and Beverage Director for Churchill Downs, Harlow's Casino Resort in Greenville, Mississippi 2011 after an act of God in the Mississippi River and the casino was temporarily closed, Lorenzo was then recruited by Joe Olujic Chief Operating Officer for Osage Casino[2] seven properties in Oklahoma 2011 through November 2014.
