Christopher Stephen Reed [1] (born February 10, 1997) [2] is an American actor, and singer. He has performed for Washington National Theater and in film, as well in other theatrical productions. He is best known for the role of Simon in the 2014 drama The Miser.

Personal Life[edit]

Reed was born in Silver Spring, Maryland and raised in Rockville, Maryland. As a small child he would often stay with his grandparents in Harpers Ferry, West Virginia and spend summers with his family in Roanoke, Virginia. His parents divorced when he was young, and he lived in low-income housing with his brothers Tim, Tyler, Dave, Mike, step mother Melissa, and father Stephen. Reed is Christian. He appeared to be a dedicated student participating in activities from Marching Band and Drama Club, to Student Government Association President. His grades on the other hand suffered barely passing. He was avidly involved with the art department of Rockville High School.


Reed sang as a teenager and began to act in high school. In 2014 he starred as Simon in The Miser for Rockville Little Theater.
