I'm a Maya archaeologist (working on the Yucatan Peninsula), with a focus upon settlement pattern surveys, as well as remote sensing (satellite and aerial views of archaeology), and multimedia communications. I have always stressed the importance of public education in archaeology, leading to my participation in the Wikipedia Mesoamerica Project.
