Colin Paterson is a broadcaster and media executive. Born is Bellshill in Scotland and grew up in Larkhall South Lanarkshire.

Colin started off as a radio presenter for Q96, Scot FM and Wave 102. He later move on to management positions with Galaxy 105 -106 and Q96. In 2002 he became Programme Director of TFM and Magic 1170 in the North East of England. As Programme Director, the station achieved several awards at the New York Festival and was commercial radio station of the year in 2005.

In 2006, Colin became launch Programme Director of Talk 107. Talk 107 was the first all speech radio station outside of London. Colin left the UTV owned station in 2007 over disagreements about the stations 100% local content policy.

Colin joined Gcap media in 2008 manageing Northants 96 and Leicester Sound. Colin is now the Programme Director for Red Dragon FM in South Wales.

He has a son called Findlay and is a member of several community boards.
