Hi! This is my page. I have some stuff about me here.

Well, I'm a British teen who spends waaay too much time surfing Wikipedia, and not actually that much time editing it. Nevertheless, I do have this account just for when I do. ;)

I love languages, as you might see at the right, and am (rather unfortunately) only a native English speaker. My knowledge and passion for the French language, however, has allowed me to obtain a near-fluent level. My Swedish is pretty decent, I have only ever taught myself, but I'm very much into it. Along with the Swedish learning has come quite a decent comprehension of written and spoken Norwegian, but I struggle to generate Norwegian myself sometimes. I've recently become quite interested in Insular Scandinavian (i.e. Icelandic and Faroese) language and culture so have picked some up of both, and inevitably all this Nordic has led me to be able to deal with some basic Danish, yet for some reason it has never really interested me that much. I have also dabbled in Mandarin Chinese.

I study both Latin and Classical Greek at school. I enjoy Classics, but not quite as much as modern languages. I obviously also study French at school, and will soon be starting a GCSE course in Spanish, however as of the moment I don't really speak any. A good friend of mine is passionate about the German language, and although I do not receive timetabled tuition in it, I have come to achieve good knowledge of the language through spending time with him.

On a more 'classic teenager' type of note, I love listening to music, follow the charts (kind of), and love Lady Gaga. Nicki Minaj, Kelis, Rihanna and Paloma Faith are some of my other favourites. Also, Paramore FTW. Along with my interest in foreign languages and cultures has come an interest in foreign (and unsurprisingly, particularly Scandinavian) music. I love Veronica Maggio (an awesome Swedish-Italian singer), have come to quite like Eivør (a brilliant Faroese artist who sings both traditional and modern music mainly in Faroese, Icelandic and English) and quite enjoy the music of Zaz, a pretty good French singer. I know I'm sad, but I also love Eurovision. :)

Well, that's most of me!
