I'm just a lowly wikipedian. But I do love Wikipedia, and from time to time I may work on articles in categories that I care about, such as philosophy and science. I think it is very important to always be civil and follow the wikipedia etiquette.

One of the principles of Wikipedia Etiquette is to recognize one's own biases and to keep them in check. It is in the spirit of this principle that I acknowledge I am an atheist, a humanist, and a libertarian. I believe that truth can only be found by scientific inquiry and rational discourse where statements and claims are supported by facts and arguments.

I'm fluent in a few languages but I'm probably going to spend most of my time on the english wikipedia. That's the one I like best.

Here's a list of my contributions. On my toolbox page I keep the templates and links to policy pages etc. that I find useful.

When I want to test something, I use my Sandbox.

I love the visual arts - especially painting. Some of my favorite artists are Paul Klee, Wassily Kandinsky, Paul Cézanne, Paul Gauguin, Utagawa Hiroshige, and Utagawa Kuniyoshi. -- I just realized there are three Pauls and two Utagawas there. Hm...

While I reject any form of historicism, it is to history that I turn when I try to understand why people do the things they do. History is important.

When I am not doing whatever it is I'm supposed to be doing I am reading philosophy, especially philosophy of the mind.

WikiProject Time.

I have always been fascinated with time. Philosophy of time, horology, or calendars - if it has to do with time, I love it. Time is important to me. I don't really know why.
