Berwid (originaly Berwick), County Berwickshire, United Kingdom.

The founder of the czech-line: Jacob Berwick, a non-commissioned officer (N.C.O.) in the british regiments - Robert Gordon and Walter Deveroux - in the Czech Kingdom in the 17 century (1625).

Buquoy (originaly Bucquoy), North France, district Artois. The founder of the czech-line: Charles de Bucquoy, general in the Czech Kingdom in the 17 century (1618-21).

The family direct-line: Alexander de Buquoy, 17 century (1641 - 1676). Place of residence: Manor house in the village Liderovice, district Tabor.

Mother: Vera, born (girl-name) Vera Berwid of Buquoy (1926 - ), leading management in the hotel- and food-industry in the Czech Republik und Germany.
Ing.Jan Bervida (1893 - 1962), granduncle, Minister of Czechoslovakian Civilian Air Ways (1929-38).
