My name is Bill Dawson. I live in Blackburn, Lancs., UK.
I use Wikipedia all the time, and would like to put something back by making occasional contributons.
I have a PhD in Chemistry and like to play Go. However, as it's many years since I practised Chemistry, and my Go strength is only ~6k, I don't expect to have much to contribute to either of these topics.
Rather, I would like to respond to omissions or errors that I come across in my general use of Wikipedia. Apart from minor updates and corrections on various pages, I have four edits to my name so far; a couple of lines about each of Kathleen Ferrier and William Henry Hornby in 'Notable People' on the Blackburn page, some cricket info' on the "Arthur Dawson (footballer born 1882)" page (my grandfather), and a new article titled "Anni Frind".
Other cyberspace additions include 2 passages to Sensei's Library[1], and 40 problems to Goproblems.com[2] under the name 'WTD'; and a word to English Wictionary[3] as 'Bildawson'.
