Wireborn was founded in 2005 by Gerhard Van der Westhuizen and Reinier Swart,both of them are South African who recently won a string of awards for there project “DNA FOR THE CLASSROOM”.

Precisely one year later they are doing it again with the upgrade of there 2005 program namely BIOPEDIA. This new program consists of interactivities to help students study better for exams and so far the program is only based on Biology, but they are strongly trying bring out Programs in ever study department. Biopedia consists of database of 15 languages and a upgrade with 23 languages with are 11 of the official South African languages.
