I am here on a quest to improve the quality of articles about economics. I will endeavor to use up-to-date references from well-respected sources, and present the consensus of professional economists. Too often Wikipedia volunteers, perhaps for personal gain, are able to find stray references that do not represent anything approaching academic consensus and place these unusual views to the forefront of pages. This is undesirable. I will help verify suggestions from other economists, and only make changes that I consider to be factual and representative. I have set up this account as a signal that I will be doing this responsibly.
