Reagan onyin (mtukufu)-wakipedia Early life and education Reagan Onyin Etiang was born 12th June 1993 in peresten village, cheptais, Mt.Elgon sub- County, bungoma county to Paul Etiang and Mary Akisa Etiang .[4] He attended Cheptais and Tororo Primary School for his primary school education then joined Sipala Secondary School in Bungoma County for his Kenya certificate of secondary education. He then went on to do a BSc (chemistry) from the moi University, but never graduated due to fees problems. Reagan later enrolled for clinical medicine and surgery in Kenya medical training college, graduating in 2018. The following year, He enrolled for internship at Meru Teaching and Referral hospital as a clinical officer.

Political career Reagan was Organizing Secretary of Youth for Kapondi in 2012 a group that was formed to drum up support for Hon. Fred kapondi in the 2013 election where kapondi lost the election to former member of parliament John serut.[7] later they reorganized the team in 2016 together with his cousins brother victor masake(chairman) and mario kempes(Treasurer) this made sure kapondi assumes the office because he was able to gather most of the iteso votes across the mountain.

Reagan was the former secretary general for Bungoma student association moi university main campus which had many controversies because it is believed he was forcefully given that position through a rigged election in order to secure the interests of the outgoing chairman Mr. Moses mukaile one of the vocal young politician from sirisia constituency allied to musalia mudavadi.Reagan participated to many student elections campaigns together with his long-term friend Mr.Moses Okong'o alias saitoti a luo student leader from migori- suba distric, they form vital team of decision makers.

In febraury 2017, Reagan declared publicly that he would stand for the Member of county assembly cheptais ward in the next general election, scheduled for august 2017. His statement was condemned by some of his colleagues, including his cousin brother Engineer mario kempes majune.finally he drummed support to current MCA former deputy speaker for bungoma county assemby hon jane chebet.

mtukufu was former academy manager bridge ineternation academies, worked with KAREUMPYA CBO and planted over 1 million trees in deforested mt.Elgon national park forest under the project manager Mr.Emmanuel masake
