User:Hans Hs Winkler
Hans Hs Winkler (actually „Hans Winkler") is a German artist, (*1955 in Rott am Inn).
Since 1984 he realized projects and interventions in the public space like „Steam Song“, a soundinstallation in (Albuquerque, NM, 2015) ,„the escape of the Iceman/Ötzi“ (Eurac, Museion Bolzano, Italy, 2008), or „un incidente in gondola“ (Nuova Icona, Venice, Italy, 2002). From 1988 to 2000 he worked in collaboration with artist Stefan Micheel under the label "p.t.t.red" on projects such as the urban space installations „golden section", 1988-2000, or the „red shift", 1989-1990, in Berlin. He co-curated shows like „legal/ Illegal“ at NGBK, Berlin, 2004, or „looking for mushrooms“ at the Museum Ludwig, Cologne, 2008. He published the „walking newspaper“ in different cities like Istanbul, Johannesburg, New York, Havana, Bonn or San Francisco. Hans Winkler lives in Berlin and New York.
