Sintanic is an American thrash metal band created in Los Angeles, California in late 2009 by Darrell Roberts (former guitarist of TUFF, W.A.S.P. and Five Finger Death Punch.)

History[edit]

Darrell Roberts is the lead guitarist and vocalist. Roger Lotring, author, freelance writer, radio host, and friend of Darrell said, "Most metal fans already know that Darrell is a monster metal guitarist. But he's got a deep appreciation and a real understanding of the emotional dynamics of the blues. “Lost and Found” is Darrell taking that raw emotion and adapting it to metal."[1]

Ben Graves, former Murderdolls drummer, joined Sintanic in February 2010. About Graves joining the band, Roberts says, "The material is starting to sound good, tight and Ben is really the perfect drummer for this band. The guy hits like a fucking truck and is a show within himself." He adds, "I hope people dig this shit because we are having a blast creating it!"[2]

"Starting something new is kinda scary and super-exciting at the same time," Darrell previously stated. "It's like standing at the bottom of Mt. Everest wearing flip flops!" After years of touring the world with well-known heavy metal bands, Roberts is taking that experience to create something new. "I mean no disrespect to anyone I have worked with in the past because I regret nothing!" he says, "It was invaluable, a learning experience and I thank you all for the opportunity, but it was really time to let my creative side roam free and record my music."[3]
