Ifrit is the alias of Vegard Haugland, a Wikipedian from Bergen, Norway. His interests include video games, literature, linguistics, psychology, philosophy, martial arts, comedy, Photoshop and web design, cinema and music. The nickname Ifrit was chosen because of his fascination for the mythological creature Efreet. He also uses (or has previously used) the nicknames Efreeti, Vargrim, Rathiel, Xebeche and megascorcher.
