Mari Vivace (Business Woman)

Mari Vivace (born March 30,1963) is an American businesswomen, entrepreneur and women's advocate. She is currently the CEO of Inspiration Cosmetics [1] . She has been a Fortune 100 executive and Chief Marketing Officer with a focus on e-commerce and direct-to- consumer marketing and has spoken to thousands of people at events and conferences all over the world. She is known for her drive, conviction and passion.

Personal Life

Mari Vivace was born in Our Lady of Victory Hospital in Lackawanna, NY [2]. Her name at birth was Ida Adel Tosiero and later changed to Maryanne when adopted by a family in Central New York. In high-school she belonged to every club and invented new clubs she felt the school needed. She was known for dressing being fashion forward and always had heels on. In high school, college and graduate school she rarely studied and always received good grades. She was fashion-oriented and was always shopper and in fashion shows from the time she was five years old.

She attended State University of New York [3] received BA/BS degrees in Psychology and Biology. She attended Syracuse University [4] and completed a combined Masters program from the and the Whitman School of Management [5] and Newhouse School of Public Communication [6] .

Business Career

Her exposure to the corporate world has put her in a unique position to learn the most advanced business and marketing techniques. She has progressively sought out and achieved in challenging sales and marketing environments, generating billions of dollars for her companies. This was done primarily by marketing to women.

When working at an advertising agency in 2004, Mari got her first exposure to the business of cosmetics and was immediately hooked.

She originally became interested in cosmetics after an ill-fated prom experience and the fact that growing up she wasn't allowed to wear make-up. After twenty years of marketing to woman and understanding what women want and need when it comes to make-up products for the busy professional to stay home mothers and in between. She launched her own online retail company called Inspiration Cosmetics [7] focusing on high quality, high pigments multipurpose cosmetics that empowers women.

Philanthropy

Mari not only wants to empower women but help those in need, reason why she recently launched The Inspiration Operation [8], Lets Stop Human Sex Trafficking rounds out the Inspiration Cosmetics' mission to empower women by stopping one of the very thing that dis-empowers them, by educating and building awareness about this issue and its negative impact on our safety and communities.
