Cody lead two projects in the spring of 2012 one of which was based on the ecology of Isoperla bilineata in Lake Superior and the other was a study on the migration patterns of the American Woodcock in Michigan's Upper Peninsula.
As a student of history Cody intensively researched the topic of Lebanese immigrants in Michigan's Upper Peninsula a topic with very little previous research making it a project of importance. Starting in early June 2012 he started to focus on a new topic while finishing up the prior research. The new focus is on the cultural suppression of the Sami identity in modern Sweden. The project will be greatly focused on during the time period between June and August 2012.
