I'm a musician and student of Spanish and Yiddish living in North Carolina. I'm currently working with Beth Holmgren, chair of the Slavic Languages department at Duke, on a cd of cabaret music from Warsaw between the world wars. She knows Polish, I know Yiddish. I have been referencing a few Yiddish books on the period and adding people to Wikipedia who are pertinent to our project and ought to be represented here.
