Ashutosh Garg (born 19XX) is a researcher in artificial intelligence and machine learning, as well as CEO and co-founder of [Eightfold.ai], a talent intelligence platform software company.
Ashutosh Garg and Varun Kacholia founded Eightfold.ai in September 2016[1] through undisclosed seed funding. The company, based in Mountain View, CA, offers a Talent Intelligence Platform, a system for talent management at mid-size and enterprise organizations based on artificial intelligence and machine learning.
Prior to Eightfold, Dr. Garg worked on search and personalization at both Google and IBM Research. He has more than 6000 academic and patent citations[2], as well as more than 35 peer-reviewed research publications[3]. His Ph. D. thesis in machine learning won an outstanding thesis award.
Education
[edit]Dr. Garg holds an undergraduate degree from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, and a doctorate from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
