My name is Joe Roe. I'm mainly here to help improve Wikipedia's coverage of archaeology and other fields I find interesting. I also try to do my bit to smooth the way for new editors at AfC and the Teahouse.

My day job is archaeology too. My research is in computational archaeology and the prehistory of Southwest Asia. (Not that it matters.)
