My name is Joe Roe. I'm an archaeologist and my main goal here is to help improve Wikipedia's coverage of archaeology and related fields. I'm also an administrator on the English Wikipedia and do various bits of behind-the-scenes work.

I have one alternative account, Joe Roe (mobile).

Conflicts of interest[edit]

Given that my day job and my main editing interest here are one and the same there's inevitably some overlap, but I try to stick to the sources and give any topics I'm directly involved a wide berth (especially sites and research projects I've worked on.)
