My name is Joe Roe. I'm mainly here to help improve Wikipedia's coverage of archaeology and other fields I find interesting. I also try to do my bit to smooth the way for new editors at AfC and the Teahouse.

In real life I do computational archaeology and research the prehistory of Southwest Asia. (Not that it matters.)

New articles[edit]

Other articles I've worked on[edit]

Uploaded to Commons.

Maps and diagrams[edit]

Uploaded to Commons. Many of these were requests from the map workshop.

Conflicts of interest[edit]

Given that my day job and my main editing interest here are one and the same there's inevitably some overlap, but I try to stick to the sources and give any topics I'm directly involved a wide berth (especially sites and research projects I've worked on.)
