History
[edit]Sweet Georgia Brown is a classic brand of hair pomades made in Valmor Products Co. in Chicago, United States. It was sold throughout the North American continent. A series of big advertising campaigns in the 1940’s made Sweet Georgia Brown the choice of both men and women everywhere for high shine and reducing frizz and split ends.
Through the decades Sweet Georgia Brown became synonymous with barbers in the Americas and across the ‘big pond’. In recent years it fell away but has been rediscovered and June 2006 saw the relaunch of this soon to become retro hair aid.
It still has the same formula as it was originally.
