Karimpuzha is a small village near mannarkkad in Palakkad district, kerala state,india.It is located on the banks of the river Karimpuzha.The village consists of famous Sreeramaswamy Temple it is also situated in the banks of the river karimpuzha.It is known as dhakshina ayodhya.Famous personalities from Karimpuzha, veteran malayalam film actor late Ravi Menon,karimpuzha Gopi Poduval (Chenda Artist), Santhosh Karimpuzha (Australian Documentary Award winner and Writer ). Karimpuzha has an agriculture based economy.The village attracts immigrants from all over india for ages and is an wonderfull community of people who speaks multilanguages including kannada and tamil, but the principle spoken language is Malayalam. It has a rich cultural heritage.Eventhough a part of Palakkad, it has a very different culture as compared to Palakkad.As per 2001 india census the population of karimpuzha estimated as 29,736 (males 14288 and females 15448 ).The boundaries are west-cherpulassery, north-mannarkkad,east-kongad and south ottappalam.Nelliyampathy, Malampuzha garden and silentvalley national park are the near by main tourist attractions.Nearest airports are Karipur and Coimbatore.The Railway stations are Ottapalam and Palakkad
