Hi! I have been contributing to Wikipedia since a little before March 20, 2006. My interests lie mainly in the geology areas of science with a focus in Paleontology, specifically paleobotany and paleoentomology. For the past eight plus years I have concentrated on creating and expanding the wikipedia coverage of Tertiary fossil plants from western North America, and the overall coverage of fossil insect taxa.
This spiny Spondylus Barnstar is awarded to you Kevmin, in recognition of all your 2012 work on the subject of bivalve mollusks as part of Wikipedia:WikiProject Bivalves, including many articles on fossil bivalves. All of your efforts are much appreciated! Invertzoo (talk) 18:25, 1 January 2013 (UTC)
The Dinosaur Barnstar
For all your meticulous taxonomic work here and on Commons! FunkMonk (talk) 09:50, 6 April 2013 (UTC)
Fifty? .... well you are well on your way to seventy. I have been impressed by not only the articles, but the photographs too. So many extinct animals ... until we get the "Jurassis Park" technology working on ancient DNA then I think we will have to rely on Kevmin to bring these bugs and plants alive! Well done, You deserve the barnstars you have gathered. Thanks from me and the wiki Victuallers (talk) 10:13, 27 October 2010 (UTC)
My sincere congratulations with writing 100+ articles for DYK. I personally appreciate the topic you are writing on and the quality of you work, and wish you good luck with keeping it up! Materialscientist (talk) 04:37, 9 August 2011 (UTC)
Oh, it seems like its only 150 articles ago since I gave you your award for 50. There used to be an advert on UK TV where the aunt says "ooo! you've got an 'ology". That reminded me of your talk page. :-) Its always the pictures that inspire me with your numerous articles on extinct insects and stuff. Well done. Victuallers (talk) 20:56, 29 October 2012 (UTC)
