Boat and Breakfast is a type of Bed and breakfast, where the guests are accommodated on board a boat rather than in a conventional house. Like a traditional Bed & Breakfast, the rental includes overnight accommodations and a morning meal. However, unlike a typical B&B which has guest rooms in the host's home, the host does not generally live on board but is instead available by phone.

Boat and Breakfast properties may include motor yachts, barges, houseboats, or other craft, and typically the guests rent the entire boat for the night. Less common, but also available, are overnight accommodations on board larger vessels such as schooners or multi-unit houseboats.
Often accompanied by options such as fishing trips, chartered cruises, or harbor tours, this less-conventional option appeals to travelers who are looking for a unique and private overnight experience. Relatively new to the scene, Boat and Breakfast properties are popping up in many harbor cities.
