My name is David King. I'm Wikipedia's most prolific author of ranked content about extant organizations, having written about 40+ "Good Article"-ranked pages. Most of this was done as a sponsored editor as the owner/operator of Ethical Wiki. I used to be a prolific volunteer editor with almost 40,000 edits. I wrote History of public relations, History of acupunture, numerous business and BLP pages, and contributed in areas like AfD, AfC, RSN, etc.. I also wrote Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not (organizations). I retired my volunteer hat after consensus effectively required that I disclose the personal identity of myself and my clients, due to my sponsored work. This meant I was no longer protected by anonymity from off-wiki bullying, harassment, and legal disputes, all of which are fairly routine threats in the areas I worked on. Nowadays all of my contributions are in relation to my sponsored work and I will have to abstain from anything else so as to mitigate my personal exposure to bullying from article-subjects or opinionated editors. For any edits in October 2015 or later, I have a financial connection directly with the article-subject, unless otherwise specified.
