Sourav Chandidas Ganguly, born in Kolkata is one of the most prominent cricketers in India. Apart from being one of the famous openers and the captain of the Indian Cricket team, he has also lead the IPL team of Kolkata Knight Riders.

His life has always been in the media attention, be it his wedding with his lovely wife Dona Ganguly or his fall in his career. But even in the worst parts of his career he has always maintained to make a comeback whether it was his 144 in adelaide in Australia in 2003 or when he lead the team to the world cup finals in the same year.

Even after several controversies with Greg Chappel or the BCCI, he will always be remembereed in the Indian Cricketing history as the captain who always supported young talents and changed the phase of the Indian Cricket. He lead the team when noone was ready to be in those shoes. He has proven time and again that he is and will be one of the biggest cricketing legends.
