Welcome! Have a seat (non-alcoholic drinks only, served here!  :) )

KoshVorlon is my non de plume. I'm really a dyed-in-the-wool geek (I even do that as a living! ) and a musician.

I use Linux primarily, and windows (at work only). I've been a Linux user (proudly using OpenSuse Leap 42.1, 64 bit at the moment) since Suse 6.2 first rolled out from its headquarters in Nurenburg, Germany. I favor German OS's and German Cars!

I primarily gnome around Wikipedia (Removing vandalism, answering questions over at the teahouse.

Pro's of Wikipedia : - If we see vandalism, we can remove it on our own.
                                   - Everyone's voice counts here.

Cons of Wikipedia: Socks - people try to use other names to pretend they're other people, and it's stupid

POV - Everyone has one, and edits according to it. To pretend that any of us could actually edit without it is preposterous. The most we can hope to do is edit in a way that's supported by reliable sources.

Some of my favorite movies:

  1. Dune { The David Lynch version - the Sci-Fi Version is a disgrace! }
  2. Star Wars { The Entire Series }
  3. Chronicles of Riddick { "No, I'm gonna kill you with a teacup" best line in the whole movie! }

Acanthaster brevispinus
A short-spined crown-of-thorns starfish (Acanthaster brevispinus) photographed at Malapascuas Island, Philippines. One of the two members of the starfish genus Acanthaster, this species was first described by the American zoologist Walter Kenrick Fisher from a specimen collected off Sirun Island. A. brevispinus is thought to be widely distributed, with specimens collected in the Philippines, the Great Barrier Reef, and the Seychelles.Photograph: Matt Kieffer
