Born in Tokyo, I grew up in the city of Chicago, Illinois, moved with my dad to Oakland, California and then to Aurora, Colorado. From there, I moved up to Boulder, Colorado, which is where I am today.

I have many interests and I specialize in many niche topics, such as the history of the Chicago rapid transit system. My interests have a wide range, from discussions on living fossils, all the way to voice actors for the latest Japanese anime. I also have a wide background in world politics and law, and I often edit articles pertaining to Coloradoan politics as well.
