Leiths School of Food and Wine is a London based cookery school, providing professional training for career cooks; short courses for amateurs; corporate team building evenings; recruits cooks for short or long-term appointments; and has produced a number of cookery books.
History Leiths School of Food and Wine was established in 1975 by Prue Leith and Caroline Waldegrave, as a training centre for chefs. In 1993, Prue Leith sold the School and catering business to Eurest, who were later bought by Compass Group PLC. In 1994 Caroline Waldegrave and Sir Christopher Bland bought Leiths School of Food and Wine back from Compass Group. Sir Christopher Bland now owns 100% of the company.
In January 2008 the School moved from St Albans Grove to 16-20 Wendell Road, London W12 9RT.
