I'm Lambtron, a contributor here at Wikipedia. My outside interests include theatre and dance (especially acro and ballet), acrobatics and gymnastics, music synthesis, and photography and other graphic arts. I am enthusiastically involved in related activities, such as photographing dance and theatre performances, designing posters for performing arts groups, web design, and composing music with Audacity and LMMS (e.g., Malachite Groove). I'm also interested in various technical topics, including real-time operating systems, video processing, computer networking, and process control — all work-related subjects.
In my professional work I'm often called upon to create simple illustrations and use plain-spoken language to explain complex topics. The skills I use there translate well to Wikipedia, where I spend much of my time clarifying explanations, improving organization, and enhancing articles with images.
My unique position as pro bono photographer of performance artists has allowed me to donate numerous dance images to Wikimedia Commons; I've displayed a few below for your enjoyment. I've also contributed many technical diagrams and photographs, but none are shown here because I expect they would not (or at least should not) elicit joy in you or my other valued visitors.
