Hi - I'm Larry Hockett. I’m a healthcare provider and a doctoral student in real life, and my WP interests include the medical humanities and baseball history. I had a different username for several years before requesting a username change in 2018. If I can help you, particularly in one of my areas of interest, don't hesitate to drop me a line on my user talk page. I have an email address, but I generally prefer to communicate on my user talk page.
I've written more than 200 new articles, most of them Start-class articles on notable physicians, scientists, nurses and scholars. I have helped to improve about 20 new or existing articles to Good Article status.
I'm interested in lesser-known baseball players, especially those from the dead-ball era. Since early 2017, I've been working from User:Larry Hockett/MLB veteran stubs, a list of baseball stubs that seem easily expandable.
I used to contribute sports-related photos to Wikimedia Commons, but several factors (including decreased free time and increased stadium netting) make that less feasible these days.
I have more than 1,500 edits on the Spanish Wikipedia; most of them are just spelling and grammar fixes.
