Featured articles are the base on which rests the credibility of Wikipedia. Even though Wikipedia makes no guarantee of validity, featured articles should be the most reliable, since they are the result of a collective work of review, improvement and correction of articles. Therefore, it should be a goal in the short, mid and long term to cover all great fields of knowledge with a core of featured articles.
I'm especially interested in writing original articles about mammals (both extant and extinct) or related subjects. When I'm not in the mood to look for information, or when I simply don't feel like it, I simply work on translating featured articles from other languages. If you get curious, you can find a brief biographical profile of me here.
