# User:Limit-theorem

I am interested in all applied mathematical subjects. My background is in probability theory and mathematical statistics, but with a practical bent. I work in quant finance and I teach quant finance.

I send students in the quant finance class that I teach to wikipedia pages. I make sure these pages do not contain flaws, that the equations are fine.

My role on wikipedia has been largely to 1) improve the clarity of the exposition of applied mathematical pages, 2) adding technical references (the correct central references generally used in the field, in place of some random reference, which is important because many nonspecialists of the topic cite from wikipedia), 3) fix mistakes, 4) make sure the first and second paragraph in the lede map clearly to the idea as many start using jargon early on in the page.
