Dismarc is a web-portal which allows access to the content of various music archives and content collectors. It does this by mapping content catalogues to the Europeana ESE format, which allows for simultaneous searching of non-homogeneuous, distributed data.

Dismarc reveals large amounts of under-exposed European cultural, scientific and scholarly music audio. Content owners – archives, broadcasters, museums, universities, research institutes, private collectors – are now opening up their collections to the wider world.

DISMARC users are archives, broadcasters, content aggregators, download platforms, educational publishers, general public, media, performing artists, record companies, researchers, students, schoolchildren and more. Content owners are welcome to deliver access to their content by registering with Dismarc - content catalogues can be managed online.
