Mark Dennis Luna is born on March 18, 1980 in Mandaluyong City, Philippines. He is the 3rd child of Merlindo C. Luna and Leticia C. Luna. His Siblings are: Herchell C. Luna, Russell C. Luna and Christopher James C. Luna. He is married to Veronica Christine B. Luna and have three children: Heather Mekhaila B. Luna, Julianna Caitilyn B. Luna and Kyrie Trent B. Luna.

Mark is currently employed in Fluor Daniel Philippines since January 2004 as a structural engineer. Mark is a registered Civil Engineer with more than eight years of aggregate experience as a structural engineer in the oil and gas, petrochemical, and building industries. Experienced in the preparation of engineering calculations for various equipment support structures, substations, multi-level equipment platforms, pipe racks, foundations (piled/non-piled), buildings, horizontal and vertical equipment, and Table Top structures. Experienced in the analysis and design of vibrating machinery foundations and Blast resistant structures such as blast walls & personnel utility buildings inside a refinery complex.

Mark is knowledgeable in the use of international codes commonly used in the oil and gas industry such as ACI 318, ANSI/AISC 360-05, AISC 9th and 13th Edition, ASCE 7-05, API 650, API RP 2A-WSD, BS5950, BS8110, PIP, EuroCodes EN 1992, EN 1993, EN 1998, ASCE Design of Blast resistant buildings for petrochemical facilities, South African National Standards SANS 10162 and limited knowledge of Chinese GB Codes.

He is proficient in the use of structural engineering software such as RISA-3D and STAAD.Pro; in vibrating machinery foundation software such as DYNA5, PVAP and SVAP; Numerical Integration SDOF method for Blast Resistant Building Design; and Offshore Structural Engineering software SACS.

He has a Lead and Supervisory experience in leading the Civil, Structural and Architectural (CSA) group of projects in China, South Africa, South America and Saudi Arabia. Actively communicating with other disciplines, Lead Office Counterparts, Project Engineers, and Construction Managers for coordination and clarifications. Ensuring in delivering all deliverables on schedule, with quality and within project budgets.

Also a site construction experience in various construction projects in China. Responsibilities are to provide engineering and technical assistance to construction engineers, shop drawings review, and providing engineering solutions to structural and construction issues.
