Having lived and worked in Asia for most of my life, I have a decades-long interest in the region's culture and history, with a special focus on relations between Asia and the West since 1800. I hope to be able to contribute to better understanding of Asia's development, and in particular draw attention to Asia-related research carried out by European scholars.
