Louisiana Highway 125 (LA 125) is a state highway in Louisiana that serves Lasalle Parish. It spans 12.55 miles (20.20 km) in a south to north direction. It is signed as "Historic Route 165."

Route description[edit]

From the south, LA 125 begins as a state highway at an intersection with US 165 just south of Tullos. It heads north and passes through the small community of Tullos, where the speed limit drops to 25 MPH, and it intersects US 84. LA 125 serves as Main Street through Tullos.

After passing through Tullos, LA 125 continues parallel to US 165, passing through a rich timber area, eventually arriving at Urania. LA 125 meets LA 3259, which connects LA 125 to US 165. LA 125 meets LA 124, and the two routes are paired from Urania to Olla. Once LA 124/125 enter Olla, they both meet LA 127, and LA 124 joins LA 127. LA 125 continues north, passing Olla-Standard Elementary School, and intersects US 165.

LA 524 is an undivided, two-lane highway for its entire length. The route was the prior route of U.S. Highway 165 through Tullos, Urania, and Olla. The entire route is singed as "Historic US 165." Before the 1955 renumbering, LA 125 was State Route 2115.

Major intersections[edit]

The entire route is in Grant Parish.
