Clan/destine is known widely as a Native Rock / Reggae / Blues band based out of Tempe, Arizona. They are often associated with using a mix of traditional Native American and modern sound in their music. Current members include: Cano Sanchez (Vocals, Native Flute, Bass) David A. Montour (Electric Guitar, Harmonica, Native Flute) Michael De La Torre (Drums, Vocals, Percussion) Matthew Vaiza (Turntables, Vocals, Percussion), Rachel Villa (Vocals) and Dez Tillman (Lead Guitar).

After release of their first full length album "Clan/destine" on Canyon Records in 1998 wordwide acclaim lead to tours of Europe as well as Australia. Upon return they recorded and released their second album Deeply Rooted (also on Canyon Records) in 2000 which went on to win a ''Native American Music Award'' (NAMA) for Best Pop/Rock Performance. Their next album "Amajacoustic" (on independent label Rezdawg Records) was released in 2002. In 2008 Operation Peace was self produced and released on Silvermoon Records. Inspired to do so during the recording of this album they created an outreach program of the same name (Operation Peace) in an effort to help children in underserved communities and reservations nationwide. In early 2012 "Evening Sessions Vol. 1", once again on (Silvermoon Records), was released solely online.
