Introduction

Hi, friends. I'm a writer based in the Central Pennsylvania area. My background is in B2B marketing, with a focus in the manufacturing, packaging, construction and restaurant industries. I work as a senior copywriter at an advertising agency, so I'm adding new industries to that list all the time! Recently, I've become interested in topics around renewable energy and CleanTech as well. I love to help clients find new, creative ways to represent their products, and I find the process of creating a strategy and a plan extremely satisfying.

As an undergraduate, I attended Elizabethtown College, where I studied writing and sociology while also pursuing my passions for music and dance. I received an Honors in the Discipline designation by completing a senior project called, "I, Matter," a work of five short stories. Since then, I've had one story published in Havik Literary Journal, and I was a shortlist finalist for the 2013 William Faulkner - William Wisdom Creative Writing Competition. My plays have also been read and performed in the greater Central PA area, including as part of the Central PA Theatre & Dance Fest at Penn State University, the Millersville University 10-Minute Play Competition, and several Lancaster, PA events hosted by Creative Works of Lancaster.

When I'm not writing (which, admittedly, isn't often unless I'm sleeping), I love to read just about anything. I also love to camp and do all the activities that go with it, like hiking, kayaking, and eating great campfire food. I'm a big fan of board games, too.
