Gerda Ursula Rubinstein (born 1931)[1] sculptor of mainly figures and birds and based in the United Kingdom since 1959[2]/1960[3].

Born in Berlin, Rubinstein moved at the age of three or four to Amsterdam, where after the war she studied at the Rijksakademie van beeldende kunsten. In 1960 she left for England, where she had also lived in the war years, and as of 2013 she has lived in Reigate, Surrey.[4] She has historic links with Harlow town through her early commissions from Sir Frederick Gibberd and the Harlow Arts Trust.[5]
