Ramji Soma aka Ramji born in 1977, in Chennai, India, grew up in New York, U.S.A.

Ramji Soma is the co-owner and chief audio engineer at Unique Studios. A music technology graduate from the Institute of Audio Research, New York City, with keen interest in electronics and music, he started a professional sound engineering career in 1997 with Sony Studios and then went on to build his own studio and record company Ill-Path Entertainment located in Jersey City. He had engineered over 40 film soundtracks and works closely with music director Yuvan Shankar Raja and the Grammy Nominee M.I.A. He also mixes for the maestro Dr. Illaiyaraaja, Karthik Raaja, Dharan, G.V. Prakash. Among Ramji's many professional credits is the fact that he engineers all songs and background scores for the renowned music director Yuvan Shankar Raja. Some ground-breaking films to his credit are Billa 2007, Kaatradhu Tamil, Chennai 600028, Saroja, Goa, Paiyaa, , and more. He also produced the video Bird Flu performed by M.I.A.

Ramji also engineered and mixed singles for international artists like M.I.A., Chynk Showtyme (Swerv), InfaRed, Keith Murray, Pav Bundy, Sosh Bacardi and DJ MVP.
