Chris Rettstatt: writer for Star Farm Productions[1], a Chicago-based independent entertainment and media company that creates, develops, and produces family entertainment in multiple media.
I am currently developing a fantasy adventure entertainment property called Kaimira and writing the five-book series (published by Candlewick Press in the United States and Walker Books in the UK, Australia, and New Zealand). The first book, The Sky Village [2], comes out in July 2008.
I also serve as Associate Director of Story Development for Star Farm, working with the creative team on new properties.
For the past decade, I worked as a specialist in the intersection of kids and technology, from online community strategy to socially responsible online marketing.
