Bots currently do a wide variety of tedious tasks

• archive talk pages (MiszaBot_I)
• automatically sign talk page entries (SineBot)
• rename categories (Cydebot)
• manage interwiki links (many)
• undo vandalism (ClueBot)
• help keep junk out of DOY pages (PseudoBot)
• update pages with sections for each day, e.g. the Reference desks (RefDeskBot), the Help desk (Scsbot), etc.
• etc etc etc
